Hi,

Psa 9:1…says “I will praise thee O Lord with my whole heart, I will show forth all thy marvellous works…”

Our lives are to be whole hearted praise …not half hearted…that we may show His works..so my prayer continues to be that my life will be a witness for Him.

I also had a special prayer time this Sunday…and my attention was rivoted to Luke 7:37,38

“And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.”

To me …she epitomizes true worship.

  • A SINNER
  • LOOKED FOR JESUS
  • BROUGHT THE GIFT THAT COST EVERYTHING SHE HAD
  • STOOD AT HIS FEET—-BEHIND HIM….IN HIS SHADOW..Always stay behind Jesus.. it is your safety zone from the religious system of the day that was ready to see everything negative and wrong in her life ….she was WEEPING …indicates her BROKEN IN HEART
  • WASHED FEET WITH HER TEARS…OUTPOURING—pour it all out to Jesus!!!!
  • HER HAIR….OUR ADORNING BEAUTY…GAVE IT TO JESUS…WIPED HIS FEET WITH IT…WE ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL UNLESS WE GIVE OUR BEAUTY TO HIM!!!
  • KISS AND ANOINTED HIS FEET…OUR PURPOSE.

So I am not surprised she touched the heart of God with her spirit and true worship….no wonder the Lord mentioned her to be remembered where ever the Gospel is preached!!!!

“Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. (Mark 14:9)

My prayer is to touch the heart of God the way this woman did.

God Bless
